Cafe Nippon Job Path

I thought it's probably easier to understand how the jobs linked together in Cafe Nippon ( Cafeteria Nipponica ) using a graph, so I made this one. It was my first time using Google Drawing. What do you think?

I will add this graph to the job list post.

  1. Just so you're aware,

This blog is THE go-to place for Cafeteria Nipponica info. I was kinda lost as to how to get things rolling early game, and you've helped a lot :)

    2. I am! My early years on this weren't so good 'cause I couldn't really figure out why my sales were so bad, but now I think I'm getting on track now. Gotta focusfire on one dish! :p Get those micro stats up!

Would you recommend moving to the more popular locations asap, or should I stick around at some of the earlier ones first?

    3. Hey, GrYnder, welcome back!

      Say we have location A,B,C,D,E

We start from A, when we have enough stuff and money, we'd get a second store in B. Then another store in C.

I stick around until I'm happy with the rank and items I get from ingredient search. Then I move A to E, B to D. That's just me though. It really depends on your $ situation. You don't want to move too fast and not being able to afford to go ingredient search.

It is a good idea to develop one of the dish from the starting menu as much as you can. Then most likely you will not have money trouble in the game. :)

I didn't realize there were micro stats till a little later. xD I'm the type that likes to figure things out myself but sometimes it means I make lots of mistakes along the way. :p But it's a game. I have fun that way. :D

  2. I usually don't have problems figuring things out. I got through Game Dev Story and Grand Prix story without a hitch, but by year 8 I realized that my dishes still sucked and by pay day every year I had negative funding so I knew I had to be missing something...

And thats when I stumbled upon this blog :)

  3. Honestly haven't had much time for games for the past little while... :( Sad times, I know. Mostly been playing mobile games during my commute, but occasionally I'll get on my PC and play Counter-Strike or something.

I notice you've got some WoW and Minecraft stuff on here. I used to play WoW! :0 But once Cataclysm released I lost interest fast... Maybe it was the new talent trees, who knows. I tried getting into Minecraft, too, and I really like the whole sandbox concept (I used to play Garry's mod, a Half-Life 2 sandbox game) but learning all the combinations to make things and taking the time to mine stuff pushed me away. I wish I had more time for these things :'(

    1. That's life I guess. Too many good games, and too little time. xD Googled Garry's mod, looks like an interesting game too. :)

I have many characters in WoW. The main ones are:

      Beauti

      Enna

My friend Perble Bear and I are big holders, in all games. ( Was gonna say Minecraft but thought about it for a second, yeah, in all games. ) xD We can give you a hand if you feel like building something. :D
